In order to meet the challenges of climate change, it is necessary to adapt to the changing environmental conditions. To do this, the socio-ecological systems must be strengthened.

In our corporate mission statement, we have stipulated that increasing the climate resilience of our locations is our top priority.

We are also involved in the "Climate-resilient region with international appeal" (KRiS) programme and act as a sponsor of measures for the cities of Witten, Wetter, Hattingen and Hagen to promote, for example, the unsealing of surfaces and the greening of roofs and façades.
