Children are our future - their knowledge will determine what our world will look like in ten, twenty or thirty years' time.

Education plays a special role at Ruhrverband. With the online teaching materials portal WasserWissen.Ruhr, the association supports educators and pupils with an extensive range of teaching materials for primary, lower and upper secondary schools as well as extracurricular learning locations such as dams, sewage treatment plants, hydroelectric power plants, the fish lift and our historical collection.

Knowledge is not imparted in one direction, but rather an exchange takes place with the younger generation about their topics and expectations. The learning materials and extracurricular learning locations enable children and young people to get to know their region in an experience-orientated way. In an age-appropriate way, they learn what water actually is and what tasks the Ruhrverband has in this regard.
