Ennepe sewer network

The city of Ennepetal transferred its wastewater disposal obligations to the Ruhrverband on 1 May 2023 in accordance with Section 52 (2) of the North Rhine-Westphalia State Water Act.

The technical and organisational management of the sewer network is carried out by the southern regional division with its administrative headquarters in Plettenberg.
The sewer network is connected to two Ruhrverband sewage treatment plants and one Wupperverband sewage treatment plant.

The town of Ennepetal offers local consultation hours for citizens. You are welcome to make an appointment by telephone.

The town of Ennepetal is also still responsible for sewer connection applications.
