Technical renovation of the SK Hasbach storage channel in Arnsberg-Vosswinkel

Starting immediately, extensive renovation work will be carried out on the SK Hasbach storage canal in Arnsberg-Vosswinkel. The aim is to bring the structure on Vosswinkeler Straße (B7) up to the current state of the art.

As part of the project, the existing operating hut will be replaced with a new reinforced concrete cover. In addition, the mechanical and electrical engineering will be completely renewed and protected by an enclosure in future.

The construction work will affect around 30 residents in the immediate vicinity. As the structure is located directly on a heavily used cycle path, this will have to be completely closed for the duration of the work. A diversion will be signposted accordingly. In addition, increased construction vehicle traffic is to be expected on the access road to the cycle path along the B7.

If the weather is dry, the work is expected to be completed by the end of November 2025.

The Ruhrverband asks all affected residents and cyclists for their understanding for the temporary restrictions and will endeavour to carry out the construction work as quickly as possible.
