Sewer extension in Dünnefeldweg in Meschede to start shortly

On Monday, 21.07.2025, the Ruhrverband will begin with a sewer extension at Dünnefeldweg 13 in the northern city centre area of Meschede. The existing wastewater sewer will be extended over a length of around 110 metres to ensure the drainage of a new administration building in the Dünnefeldweg area.

A drinking water pipe belonging to Hochsauerlandwasser GmbH (HSW) will also be laid as part of the project. The work is being carried out in close coordination between the two suppliers and should be completed by 31 August 2025.

As the construction work was deliberately scheduled during the summer holidays, the Ruhrverband expects only minor disruption for local residents. The main restriction will be access to the neighbouring sports field.
