Henne dam: Closure of the edge path for construction work

Electric lifting cylinder to be reinstalled after general overhaul on 27 November

The edge path of the Henne Dam will be closed on 27 November 2025 between the main dam and SinnePfad. The reason for this is the reinstallation of the electric lifting cylinder of the fish belly flap at the spillway, which was removed at the beginning of September for a general overhaul. A 60-tonne crane will be positioned in the area of the spillway for the reinstallation, meaning that it will not be possible to use the side path during the work for safety reasons. The closure is only expected to last one day. Signposts will be erected in the Mielinghausen district. The Ruhrverband asks for your understanding for any restrictions.

A crane was used to remove the cylinder, and now the overhauled component is being lifted back into place. lifted back into place.
