Construction work on the municipal sewer in Ennepetal

Ruhrverband to renovate thirteen manhole structures in Bergstrasse from the beginning of September

From Monday, 1 September 2025, work will be carried out on the municipal sewer in the Bergstraße area of Ennepetal. Thirteen manhole structures will be renovated at house numbers 33 to 96 on behalf of the Ruhrverband. The work is expected to be completed by mid-October 2025. This will be followed by the renovation of the road surfaces on behalf of the city of Ennepetal.

A total of around 150 properties are affected by the construction work. Bergstrasse will have to be closed in the affected section for the duration of the project. The costs amount to around 93,000 euros.

Residents are requested to drive around the area in question. The Ruhrverband asks residents for their understanding for the unavoidable restrictions and will endeavour to carry out the construction work as quickly as possible.
