Ahaus reservoir: Lowering for inspection work

For inspection and repair work on the bottom outlet, the Ahauser reservoir will be lowered to a height of 240.50 NHN over the first weekend in May. The lowering will begin on Saturday, 2 May. If the work proceeds according to plan, the reservoir will be back in operation on 5 May (Tuesday). The Ruhrverband would like to point out that dry bank areas are not load-bearing and must not be entered for safety reasons. There is a risk of sinking! Fishing is also not permitted during the drawdown period.
