Once you have completed your (technical) university degree, the Ruhrverband's trainee programme offers you an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience and start your career with us. You can join us on 1 October or 1 April each year and gain valuable insights into the various areas of work at Ruhrverband.

• Varied areas of responsibility: During the 24-month programme, you will rotate through various departments in order to develop a broad understanding of the tasks and challenges within the association. Your personal goals and interests will determine your choice of stations.
• Personal development: Take the opportunity to develop your professional and social skills in a targeted manner. The programme enables you to identify and build on your strengths.
• Project work: Apply the knowledge you have acquired in specific projects and gain practical experience.
• Networking events: Build and continuously expand your professional network during the networking events. Regular dialogue: Meet regularly with other trainees, the Executive Board and HR Development to exchange ideas and receive feedback.
• Mentoring: A mentor will be on hand to provide you with advice and support throughout the programme.

The trainee programme is aimed at graduates in engineering (civil engineering, water, environmental and electrical engineering, mechanical engineering), computer science and economics as well as comparable courses of study who would like to start their professional career in a varied and dynamic working environment.
