Environmental technologist for wastewater management (m/f/d)
Training as an environmental technologist for wastewater management (m/f/d) takes 3 years. We offer apprenticeships at different wastewater treatment plants every year.
The training is basically based on three pillars: Training at the wastewater treatment plant 60 per cent, vocational school 30 per cent, inter-company training 10 per cent.
Training content
- Maintenance and servicing of machines and equipment
- Electrical work (e.g. connecting machines)
- Chemical wastewater analysis (laboratory analysis)
- Monitoring the measuring, control and regulation technology of the wastewater treatment plant
- Troubleshooting
- Wastewater drainage and rainwater management
- Sustainable energy generation
