The collective agreement for employees in the water industry in NRW (TV-WW/NW) creates the framework for attractive working conditions, including a bonus system, special annual payment, etc.

As part of the promotion of environmentally friendly mobility strategies, the Ruhrverband offers its employees discounted company tickets and DeutschlandTickets (€49 tickets).

At the Essen location, a large day care centre is offered for children under the age of 3. There are limited places available here, which can be requested.

Our application process

Submitting the application
Submit your application documents online with just a few clicks. The "Apply now" button in the job advert will automatically take you to our application form.
Confirmation of receipt
As soon as your application has been received, you will receive a confirmation of receipt by e-mail.
Checking the application documents
After the application deadline, our recruiting team reviews the applications received together with the specialist department.
Job interview
If your application has aroused our interest, you will be invited to an interview. The interviews usually take place at the location for which you have applied and last 45 - 60 minutes. The interviews are attended by a recruiter, two representatives of the specialist department and a member of the staff council. If necessary, a member of the representative body for severely disabled employees and/or the equal opportunities officer will also take part.
After the interview
Following the interview, you will receive prompt feedback on the decision.
Contract creation
Once all the formalities have been clarified, we will draw up your employment contract. We will send it to you in advance by e-mail for your information and the originals by post - or you can come to our head office to sign the contract in person.
